Making Strawberry Jam

The project this weekend was to make strawberry jam. I have a small patch here at home but for some reason they don't taste very good this year. I was in luck though a U-pick strawberry patch was open this weekend not to far from me! I picked 4.5lbs each day. If it was up to me I would pick their whole patch but I can't be greedy. 9lbs of strawberries made 8 pints & 5 half pints. There were leftovers each day. Just enough to not fill a whole jar so I didn't count those two jars, they'll be eaten first! I'm off to finish cleaning up the kitchen then hopefully I can get some sewing in!
